DbGate Shopify App

DbGate Shopify App is a native Shopify app, listed on the Shopify App Store, that brings DbGate-style spreadsheet data management directly into your store’s admin. View, edit, import and export your store data in a fast, spreadsheet-like grid - and go further with scheduled data feeds - all without leaving Shopify.

Overview

Managing store data through the standard Shopify admin works well for one record at a time, but becomes slow and repetitive when you need to update prices across hundreds of products, clean up collections, or review metafields in bulk. DbGate Shopify App puts your store entities into a familiar grid so you can browse and edit them the same way you would work with a database table:

  • Products, variants, images and product options
  • Collections, collection products and rules
  • Customers and companies
  • Files
  • Metafields, including metafield definitions and metafields added by other installed apps
  • Menus and menu items
  • Price lists, catalogs and markets

Bulk view & edit

Edit your store data directly in the grid and apply changes in bulk:

  • Update prices, SKUs and barcodes
  • Edit descriptions and inventory
  • Manage variants, images and metafields
  • Bulk delete records you no longer need

Import & export

Move data in and out of your store in the formats you already use:

  • Export products, collections, customers and metafields to CSV, XML and JSON
  • Import data from the same formats to create or update records in bulk

This makes it easy to back up your catalog, migrate data, or prepare bulk updates in a spreadsheet and push them back to Shopify.

Automated data feeds

Beyond one-off exports, you can set up scheduled jobs that generate data feeds from your store automatically. A job exports your Shopify data into a feed file (CSV, XML or JSON) that other systems can consume, such as price comparison sites, marketplaces or your own integrations.

Standard, ready-to-use feed formats are supported out of the box, including Google Merchant Center, Facebook (Meta) catalog, Heureka and Zbozi.cz - so you can plug straight into the most common shopping channels. Even catalogs with 100,000+ products are supported: large feeds are generated in the background across multiple scheduler runs, rather than in a single request.

Feeds can be generated on demand or on a schedule - interval, daily or weekly - so they always reflect the latest store data without manual work.

Getting started

  1. Open the DbGate Shopify App listing on the Shopify App Store.
  2. Install it into your Shopify store.
